Tech M.O.T.

Before you book

What is included in every Tech M.O.T. package?

Basic, Plus and Max all receive the same complete 10-point Windows health inspection, safe software optimisation, device and suitability grading, prioritised recommendations, and printed and digital M.O.T. report. The package level only changes the cleaning scope.

What is the difference between Basic, Plus and Max?

Basic is £49.99 and includes no cleaning. Plus is £64.99 and adds a Stage 1 light clean of external surfaces, the keyboard and accessible vents without opening the device. Max adds a full external and internal clean and costs £79.99 for a desktop PC or £89.99 for a laptop or all-in-one PC.

Why does Max cost more for laptops and all-in-one PCs?

Internal access on laptops and all-in-one PCs requires more careful disassembly, battery isolation where applicable, handling of clips and connectors, and reassembly. The Max price is fixed at £89.99 for those device types, regardless of model access difficulty.

Do you replace thermal paste during Max?

No. Thermal paste replacement is not currently part of the service. Max removes accessible internal dust and cleans fans, vents and accessible heatsink surfaces without disturbing the thermal compound. Abnormal temperatures or cooling behaviour are measured and documented in the M.O.T. report.

Do you support Apple Mac computers?

Not currently. DGDigital Tech M.O.T. packages are for Windows desktop PCs, Windows laptops and Windows all-in-one PCs only.

Do you look through my files?

No. Private file contents are not scanned by default. The inspection focuses on system health signals and only collects diagnostic data needed for the assessment.

Can the M.O.T. find every fault?

No short diagnostic visit can detect every intermittent or hidden fault. The report explains what was measured, what the evidence suggests, and where specialist investigation may be sensible.

Is the appointment confirmed when I send the form?

No. The form sends your enquiry directly to DGDigital and emails you a confirmation copy. Your preferred date is provisional until DGDigital replies with availability and confirms the final appointment time.
